The British invade Louisiana and attempt to capture the key city of New Orleans. The Americans led by Andrew Jackson put up a tenacious defense. Sadly, the battle actually takes place after a treaty of peace has been signed it Europe. Neither combatant had yet received the news that the war was already over.
