French and Indian War
French and British colonial ambitions collide in 1753 as 21-year-old Major George Washington accidentally ignites the French and Indian War. The War is but one component of the worldwide Seven Years War, but the war will determine the future of North America and set the stage for both the American Revolution and the French Revolution. The animation offers more detailed coverage George Washington's fight at Fort Necessity, Braddock's disastrous expedition of 1754, and the fabled Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759.
