Before the War

Watch 300 years of Colonial Exapansion develop in North America as Spain, France, England and Holland explore, claim, and settle vast territories.  Eventually British and French interests collide in the French and Indian War.

Following the French and Indian War, the American colonists begin to simmer under British rule. Tensions boil over in the early 1770s  in three events described here briefly: The Boston Massacre, The Boston Tea Party and the Powder Alarm.
